The VooDoo 2 video card is known to loose it's ability to properly display all graphics after DirectX 6 is installed. I personally lost the yellow targetting brackets that are displayed on which ever airplane you happen to be targetting. As far as I know there is no patch to correct this problem, in fact, it is a problem with the card and DX6 itself. The only way I have found to correct this is to use the DX5 reference drivers available from the 3dfx website. When your installing themyou will be prompted by Windows to not use these drivers as they are older than the drivers which you currently have installed. You must force Windows to accept the drivers by choosing YES when prompted, the default will be NO. Reboot your computer and fire up the game. You should have back any missing graphics as well as a slight frame rate increase due to the reference drivers.

Author Note: I preformmed this fix before the DX6.1 upgrade was released. I suggest you try this upgrade first, then if your problem persists, follow the procedure summerized above.
